American College Health Association (ACHA)
ACHA is an advocate and leadership organization for college and university health. Its Campus Violence Task Force provides resources in support of prevention, intervention, and victim advocacy.
Mission Definition: The American College Health Association (ACHA) will be the principal advocate and leadership organization for college and university health. The association will provide advocacy, education, communications, products and services, as well as promote research and culturally competent practices to enhance its members' ability to advance the health of all students and the campus community.
International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA)
IACLEA promotes campus safety by providing educational resources, advocacy, and professional development. The International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) was initially formulated by eleven college and university security directors. These eleven directors came together November 6, 1958, on the campus of Arizona State University to discuss job challenges and mutual problems, and specifically to create a clearinghouse for information and issues shared by campus directors across the country.
Today, IACLEA membership represents over 1,000 colleges and universities located in twenty countries. In addition to the colleges and universities, which are the Institutional Members, individual memberships are held by campus law enforcement staff members, criminal justice faculty members and municipal chiefs of police (current membership is over 1,600).

This nonprofit organization works to prevent campus violence and crimes and to assist campus victims in the enforcement of their legal rights.
