Federal criminal records can also be accessed via PACER, or Public Access to Court Electronic Records. PACER is the federal court docket system on the Internet. When visiting the website, check if the court you’re looking for is available by viewing the Courts Not On Index link. Both civil and criminal litigation can be searched for on the website. Keep in mind that when searching federal criminal records using PACER, some of the information and inclusion dates may be limited.

Aside from these, there are a number of other websites providing access to federal criminal records, such as the Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control website. Some of these websites require a subscription, while others are open for public searching and viewing.
