 Insurance Agent Background Checks

 Real person insurance agents are often reliable because they have to pass exams and background checks before they get licensed to be agents. Ohio Revised Code requires all resident applicants to pass a criminal background check conducted by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification (“BCI”). The use of other background investigations services is not permitted.

To complete a background check applicants must use WebCheck, a web-based fingerprinting technology that processes background checks within two business days.
