SAN FERNANDO - On the day his wife left him, John Racz, the retired sheriff's sergeant and former elementary school teacher accused of murder in the 1991 disappearance of his wife, Ann Racz, called his employer and asked a number of unprovoked questions about his behavior in the relationship - and later lied about having filed a missing persons report, a co-worker testified Tuesday.
