There was a simple time when you could judge a lawyer's clout by the size of his office. But as law firms morph, that's no longer the rule. The business of the law is changing, and so is the design of the offices in which lawyers practice. Personal offices and libraries are shrinking, conference centers are burgeoning, and there's a new respect for break rooms.
