How to avoid and handle identity theft was explained last week by Melissa Rigsby of Hot Springs Bank and Trust to the Kiwanis of Greater Hot Springs Village. Rigsby, a senior retail specialist at the Village branch of the bank, said though the reported incidents of identity theft have fallen in recent years, there were still 8.4 million identity-theft victims last year.
